Editorial Policy
These principles govern how MHA gathers, verifies, edits and corrects the news. They apply to every journalist, editor and contributor across all our language editions.
Accuracy
We publish information only after it has been verified against reliable sources. Where facts are still developing, we say so clearly and update the story as it evolves.
Impartiality
We report without political, commercial or ideological bias. We represent relevant viewpoints fairly and separate news from opinion.
Sourcing
We prefer named, on-the-record sources. Anonymous sources are used only when the information is in the public interest and cannot be obtained otherwise, and always with editorial approval.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and transparently. Significant corrections are clearly marked on the affected article.
Translation Integrity
Our editions are produced from a single source story and adapted for each language. We work to preserve meaning, context and nuance across every translation.
